    Angella,
So happy to hear your blog. I had just been thinking about you and wondering if you were still blogging. I got my answer. You are always so thoughtful and you have proved it again. I wish I could be there to support you and train with you, but I will not be back until the 18th. I can't wait to see you then. In the meantime, how can we support your efforts? Are you accepting donations? Let us know.
    Looking forward to being neighbors!
    Love & XXOO, Wendy

      Hi Wendy-
I was thinking about how people can support the cause without feeling like they are aimlessly giving money to huge organizations.  If anyone chooses to support the cause, please find a person going through treatment or recovery and do something nice for them.  Or, if you don't know anyone who is currently going through treatment find someone who is a Survivor and do something nice for them.  I think the big companies do a lot of good- but it's the personal things that made the most difference to me- the notes people sent, the pizza money my mother in law sent me- the unexpected gifts that showed up at my door.  THESE were the things that made a difference to me- so, unfortunatley,I think we all know someone who has either had or currently has cancer having a hard time. Give them a call or send a card or treat them to a manicure. That's the best thing I can think of to support me!

    Hi Angie:

You brought me to tears with this one! I haven’t checked your blog for a really long time, but thought I would after your call. Thank you so much for thinking of me and giving me a call! I will definitely be calling you for some guidance -- there is so much that I’m still trying to learn myself about the disease. You obviously have done your research! That’s awesome that you are doing this Race. Now all the breast cancer walks and fundraisers seem to have a little bit more meaning!!! Sorry I haven’t checked on you throughout your recovery path! You are quite the inspiration and I hope to follow your lead! I’ll be in touch soon.
    Love,
    Your cousin, Laura
