Scarf or wig???
O.k - only because everyone is asking me what the heck the mushroom cap looks like am I posting these pictures. Honestly, now I kind of like the wig, but it gave me the biggest headache the other day because it was too tight. Apparently, my head has 'grown' - I think I'm just bloated because my fingers are chubby too. Anyway, I hope it goes away because I would like to wear the 'portabello' more often! What do you think?
I think they're both fabulous - you look gorgeous. I say, mix it up. When you get tired of the portobello, go for the scarf - and vice versa.

Completely naked is of course an option -and I've been wearing a Nike cap when I work out- Matt keeps encouraging me to go with the bald look- ( or the wig, he likes the wig) He's says " You look better than what's her name- the pop star that went crazy? " ( Brittney Spears ) I'm glad I have options!

I think you look great in both,
but probably look younger in the wig.
I have heard from others that wigs are not that comfortable, but may be more so later. Since your hair just came out, your head may be more sensitive.

Thats a good point- I wore it a little more today. I'm glad it is kind of chilly here- the wig wouldn't be an option in the summer - way to hot!

You don't have the gray pallor people sometimes get with chemo.
I'm finally getting ready to ditch the scarf and color my gray brillo pad hair. I can't decide between blonde or red. I'm leaning toward blonde since I will have gray roots.

What about Strawberry Blonde? I always wanted to do the red head thing- but like you I would probably end up going blond. MY husband likes to tease me about the gray hair- What does he know- he's been shaving his head for 10 years! That's excitng about ditching the scarf- how long has it been? My son asked me when my hair was going to grow back- then he asked me how long it would take for my breast to grow back after they removed it!!!LOL I thought that was funny.
Anyway, I have had a really great couple of days, but I have treatment again on Thursday-so back to the crap again. I think it's too early on in the game to be complaining- this is only my third treatment, but those days after are really miserable.
